Who We Are

At KEV, we help school districts eliminate the school finance blind spot. Our platform gives district finance teams real-time visibility and traceability into every dollar collected at the school level; whether it’s cash, check, or digital. From field trips to fundraisers, we help them manage every dollar with confidence. More than 27,000 schools across North America trust KEV to manage over $8 billion annually. By unifying payments, accounting, and reporting, KEV simplifies life for bookkeepers, builds trust with parents, and gives finance leaders the oversight their current systems cannot. It’s how we help schools stay compliant, reduce risk, and focus on what matters most: student success.

Backed by Five Arrows, the PE arm of Rothschild & Co., KEV is investing more than ever to support K–12 in a world of tighter budgets, rising scrutiny, and fast-changing tech. We’re headquartered in Toronto, with offices across North America.

If you’re excited by the idea of building tech that protects schools, empowers finance teams, and improves education through better systems, KEV is the place for you

About the Role

The Vendor Coordinator sits within the Lunchbox team — a product that connects K-12 schools with local restaurant partners to make student lunch ordering simple, cashless, and compliant. This role is the operational engine behind our vendor network: you own the full lifecycle of restaurant partnerships from first outreach to active account management.

This is a role for someone who is organized, communicates with clarity and warmth, and takes genuine pride in doing the operational work that makes a program run smoothly. You don't need to have worked in K-12 before — but you do need to care about getting things right and representing KEV's values in every vendor interaction.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Build the vendor network — Research, identify, and conduct outreach to restaurant partners across Canada, qualifying candidates against program requirements to grow a reliable, high-quality vendor base.

  • Own the Vendor Sales cycle end to end — Manage all phases from lead generation to close, including responding clearly to vendor and school inquiries, meeting or exceeding defined sales quotas.

  • Onboard vendors with care — Confirm restaurant participation, gather accurate menu and pricing information, and act as the liaison between vendors, schools, and the customer support center to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery.

  • Keep the data clean and current — Maintain and update vendor records in the CRM with precision, including weekly reporting, forecasting, and opportunity tracking, so the team always has an accurate picture of the pipeline.

  • Manage relationships at scale — Build and sustain strong partnerships with existing vendors through daily communication and proactive support, reducing friction and increasing engagement over time.

Who You Are

  • 1-2 years of experience in vendor coordination, Operations Coordinator or sales support — ideally in a SaaS or Tech environment

  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously without dropping the ball

  • High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate vendor records, contracts, menus, and pricing information

  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with a customer-first mindset — you leave every interaction clearer than when it started

  • Experience reviewing contracts and managing vendor data, reporting, and documentation

  • Comfortable working independently and knowing when to escalate — you take action on clear instructions and don't require constant direction

  • Familiarity with the K-12 education or food service industry is an asset, not a requirement

  • The KEV Factor (not a hard skill): You bring curiosity, warmth, and a "get it done" attitude to every interaction. You ask smart questions, care about the mission, and show up with the same energy whether the task is big or small.
