Description
The Mission
We build industrial AI cameras that power factories across the US and China. In our world, reliability is everything if our cameras go down, production stops. We are looking for our first Technical Program Manager to bridge the gap between our Taipei engineering hub, our US headquarters, and our global hardware partners.
Why this role?
_High Impact: _ You aren't just tracking tickets; you are defining how we scale from 2 products to 4.
_Direct Access: _ Reporting to the CTO, you’ll have the autonomy to build the TPM function from scratch.
_Concrete Results: _ Your work directly ensures thousands of cameras run smoothly on factory floors worldwide.
What You’ll Do
_Drive Cross-Functional Programs: _ Own the end-to-end delivery of hardware and software projects (e.g., custom camera builds with Advantech, Jetpack 6 rollouts).
_Manage Hardware Partners: _ Hold ODMs and vendors accountable to design milestones, prototype schedules, and lead-time planning.
_Ship Software: _ Lead field release programs, coordinating staged rollouts and maintenance windows with our applications team.
_Be the Face of Engineering: _ Join technical deep-dives and QBRs with APAC customers. You’ll translate customer needs into engineering reality.
Connect the Regions: Act as the "connective tissue" between our teams in Taipei, China, and San Francisco.
What We’re Looking For
_Experience: _ 5–8 years in TPM or Engineering Project Management (Hardware/Embedded experience is a must)
_Vendor Management: _ A track record of pushing ODMs/vendors to deliver on time without sacrificing quality.
Technical Literacy: Ability to read Datasheets and BOMs. You don’t need to be an EE, but you must be credible when talking to engineers.
_Communication: _ Fluent Mandarin and strong professional English are required to navigate our global offices.
_Field Ready: _ Willingness to travel to China/customer sites (~once every two months).
Nice to Haves
Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, x86, or Embedded Linux.
Background working with Advantech, Adlink, or similar partners.
Experience being the first TPM in a high-growth startup.
Company
Overview AI provides AI-powered machine vision systems designed for manufacturing quality control.
