We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by leading manual testing efforts, strengthening QA processes, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for validating complex systems, identifying defects early, and driving continuous improvements in quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and specifications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing to ensure application stability and reliability.
Identify, document, and track defects using standard QA tools, ensuring clear communication with development teams for timely resolution.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective to improve product quality early in the lifecycle.
Lead end-to-end testing efforts for releases, ensuring all deliverables meet quality benchmarks before deployment.
Conduct root cause analysis for defects and contribute to process improvements to prevent recurrence.
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in manual testing and quality assurance.
Maintain detailed test documentation and provide regular status updates on testing progress, risks, and issues.
Ensure adherence to QA standards, methodologies, and best practices across projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4–8 years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manual testing.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycle (STLC), and defect management processes.
Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and potential risks.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in agile or fast-paced environments.
Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Exposure to basic SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Understanding of API testing concepts using tools like Postman.
Prior experience mentoring or leading QA initiatives is a plus.
