We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by leading manual testing efforts, strengthening QA processes, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for validating complex systems, identifying defects early, and driving continuous improvements in quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing to ensure application stability and reliability.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard QA tools, ensuring clear communication with development teams for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective to improve product quality early in the lifecycle.
• Lead end-to-end testing efforts for releases, ensuring all deliverables meet quality benchmarks before deployment.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and contribute to process improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in manual testing and quality assurance.
• Maintain detailed test documentation and provide regular status updates on testing progress, risks, and issues.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, methodologies, and best practices across projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–8 years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manual testing.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycle (STLC), and defect management processes.
• Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and potential risks.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in agile or fast-paced environments.
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Exposure to basic SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Understanding of API testing concepts using tools like Postman.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading QA initiatives is a plus.
