Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with 4-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and DAX queries, with a proven ability to work with semantic models and layers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
Write and optimize DAX queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.
Work with large datasets, both structured and unstructured, to create meaningful insights.
Design and implement semantic models/layers to ensure accurate data representation and integration within Power BI.
Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and quality.
Monitor and optimize Power BI report performance using tools like Performance Analyzer, DAX Studio, and other relevant tools.
Implement security features such as Row-Level Security (RLS) and other access controls within Power BI.
Participate in code reviews, and provide recommendations for best practices in Power BI development.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Power BI and related technologies.

Mandatory Skills:

Power BI: Extensive experience in developing and managing Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
SQL: Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
DAX Queries: Strong experience in writing and troubleshooting DAX queries to create calculated columns, measures, and complex reports.
Semantic Models/Layers: Expertise in designing and implementing semantic models and layers within Power BI for efficient data representation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4-6 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Power BI Service, Power Query, and other related tools.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Experience in migrating reports from other BI tools to Power BI.
