About the Team
The UX Designer will be a member of the BillingPlatform Product Team which is responsible for defining the product vision and roadmap as well as executing monthly release plans and leading go-to-market activities. We are expanding the team in support of our commitment to user-centered design and ongoing investment into user experience across the portfolio.
The Opportunity / Role Overview
This is a high-impact opportunity for a skilled UX Designer to elevate the user experience for key features within our enterprise SaaS platform. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex user requirements and high-fidelity, pixel-perfect execution. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design of specific product areas—creating everything from detailed user journey maps and wireframes to final, production-ready screen comps.
We are seeking a designer who is a Figma power user: someone who works with speed and precision, leveraging and contributing to our design system to ensure a cohesive UI across the platform. While you will actively participate in user research and product discovery to ground your work in evidence, your primary focus will be on the “craft”—translating insights into intuitive, functional, and beautiful interactions.
As a key member of our product squad, you will collaborate daily with Product Management, Engineering, and other User Experience team members to ensure your designs are technically feasible and implemented to the highest standard. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in an Agile environment, enjoys solving complex workflow challenges, and is comfortable maintaining a consistent daily overlap with our U.S.-based team until 12:00 PM Denver Time (19:00 UTC).
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Feature-Level Ownership: Own the end-to-end design for product features, creating user journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity screen comps with guidance from a more experienced designer.
• Figma Execution: Work rapidly within our established Figma design system to produce clean, organized, and “pixel-perfect” designs.
• Research Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers to actively participate in user research sessions and usability testing. You will help capture insights and translate user feedback into tangible design improvements. • Design-to-Dev Handoff: Partner closely with Engineering to ensure technical feasibility and provide all necessary assets and specifications for an accurate build. • Consistency: Use and contribute to our Figma component library, ensuring all new work maintains visual and functional alignment with the broader platform.
What You'll Need (Qualifications)
- 3–5 years of UX/Product Design experience, preferably within B2B SaaS or complex fintech environments.
• Figma Mastery: You should be exceptionally fast in Figma, with deep knowledge of auto-layout, components, variants, tokens, libraries, and new features.
• Visual Precision: A track record of delivering “pixel-perfect” designs with a high degree of attention to detail. • Active Decision-Making: Proven ability to participate in fast-paced trade-off discussions. You should not just be on the receiving end of requirements; you should be an active voice helping Product and Engineering weigh the user value of a design against technical effort and time-to-market constraints. • Pragmatic Design Advocacy: Ability to articulate the “why” behind design choices while remaining flexible. You can identify when to push for a “pixel-perfect” solution and when a “good enough for now” iteration is the right move for the business. • Collaborative Synthesis: Skilled at quickly formulating and presenting design alternatives (Option A vs. Option B) to help stakeholders visualize the impact of specific trade-offs on the user journey. • Cross-Functional Fluency: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between product goals, user needs, and engineering realities, especially during rapid sprint planning or discovery sessions. • Portfolio: A portfolio that showcases your ability to solve complex functional problems through clear user flows and high-fidelity UI. • Collaboration Hours: This role requires a daily overlap with our U.S.-based team until 12:00 PM Denver Time (19:00 UTC during MDT / 18:00 UTC during MST).
