Salary range: Rs 800000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 8-12 LPA)

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to drive quality across the product lifecycle by building robust, scalable automation frameworks. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases through efficient testing strategies and continuous integration practices. You will play a key role in embedding automation into the development process, improving test coverage, and ensuring reliability across web and mobile applications. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality engineering, thrives in agile environments, and enjoys solving complex testing challenges through automation.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications
  • Build and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define effective test strategies
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing to ensure product quality
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
  • Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and quality closure
  • Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and overall QA processes
  • Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing tools, frameworks, and best practices

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Hands-on experience in QA with a strong focus on automation testing
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
  • Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner (preferred)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow is an added advantage
