THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Data Scientist is responsible for leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques to extract insights from complex datasets. This role partners with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into data-driven solutions, enabling informed decision-making and measurable outcomes.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that drive business insights
- Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models and machine learning solutions
- Apply advanced statistical and analytical methods to solve business problems
- Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings clearly
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical approaches
- Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows in cloud-based environments
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and adherence to governance standards
- Document methodologies, analyses, and recommendations for transparency and reproducibility
SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis, machine learning, and model development
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques
- Ability to analyze and interpret large, complex datasets to identify trends and actionable insights
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to communicate findings effectively
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation techniques
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and analytics environments
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data engineering concepts
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and best practices for data management
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and technical outputs
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience documenting methodologies, models, and analytical findings for reproducibility and auditability

Compensation and Benefit Information:
The salary range for this position is $140,000-$165,000. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.
