We are looking for a Machine Learning Intern to join us in protecting the digital world\n\nJoin Acronis Asia R&D as a Machine Learning Intern to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in cybersecurity and data protection. You will work alongside experienced engineers and researchers, applying your skills to real-world challenges and gaining valuable industry experience.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\n* Assist in the evaluation of machine learning models for various cybersecurity applications, including malware detection, anomaly detection, and threat intelligence.\n* Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets for model training and evaluation.\n* Conduct experiments, analyze results, and iterate on model improvements.\n* Research and evaluate new machine learning algorithms and techniques, especially with agentic approach to model analysis.\n* Contribute to the development of robust and scalable ML pipelines.\n* Document research findings, code, and model architectures.\n* Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.\n\nWHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR\n* Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.\n* Strong understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts, algorithms (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning), and statistical methods.\n* Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python (with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), Java, or C++.\n* Experience with data manipulation and analysis using libraries like Pandas and NumPy.\n* Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.\n* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\n* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.\n\nWHO WE ARE\nA Swiss company founded in Singapore in 2003, Acronis offers over twenty years of innovation with 15 offices worldwide and more than 1800 employees in 50+ countries.
