About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to support our Australian clients in creating high-performing short-form content.

This is not a basic editing role. You will be responsible for producing engaging Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts that capture attention, drive engagement, and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form videos (15–60 seconds) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Add high-retention captions, subtitles, sound effects, and trending audio
  • Apply fast-paced, engaging cuts and platform-native editing styles
  • Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form clips
  • Implement strong hooks (first 1–3 seconds) and retention-focused pacing
  • Take feedback and revise edits quickly and accurately
  • Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, and platform updates

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in video editing
  • Strong portfolio focused on short-form content (required)
  • Solid understanding of social media performance, attention span, and viewer behaviour
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools
  • Experience with After Effects is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow direction precisely
  • Comfortable working remotely full-time (AU hours)
