- Perform reliability and availability analysis using Reliability Block Diagrams and DFMEA
- Advise engineers on optimal redundancy architecture
- Support the engineering and production teams with design reviews, failure analysis and root cause analysis
- Plan and manage EEE component tests, defining reliability targets, sample sizes, and stress conditions for internal or external test labs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or a related engineering field
- 5+ years of experience as a reliability, component, or electrical engineer
- 4+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: physics of failure, semiconductor physics, design for reliability, functional safety, or accelerated testing
- Experience in electrical design, including components, circuits, PCBs, or electronic assemblies
- Experience in reliability statistics and data analysis
- Strong analytical skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bonus
- Experience performing failure analysis and destructive physical analysis investigations to provide corrective actions and paths to closure
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and testing methodologies for electronic components
