Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Website Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality web experiences. This role is focused on delivering performant, visually consistent, and technically robust websites while ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.

You will play a key role in leading code quality initiatives, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement, while proactively managing dependencies, risks, and opportunities across projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable websites using TypeScript and PHP.
Build high-quality front-end experiences with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
Develop and maintain backend functionality and integrations using PHP-based frameworks.
Ensure alignment with brand guidelines, technical standards, and project requirements.
Lead and participate in code reviews, promoting best practices and high-quality standards.
Proactively identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product, and marketing.
Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and scalability.
Implement and maintain testing strategies and ensure code reliability.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to team growth.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.

Qualifications and Skills

5–7+ years of experience in web or website development.
Strong hands-on experience with:
- TypeScript / JavaScript (modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar)
- PHP (Laravel, Symfony, WordPress, or similar ecosystems)
Solid understanding of:
- HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
- Website performance optimization and SEO best practices
Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
Experience with cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or headless CMS).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with analytics tools and performance monitoring.
Understanding of security best practices in web development.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
