Job Description:

Tergar International is seeking a Marketing Specialist to promote our online subscription programs, Vajrayana Online, and events featuring Mingyur Rinpoche to the Chinese-speaking audience worldwide. We aim to enhance accessibility for this community by offering re-streamed events tailored for the Asian time zone and translating select Vajrayana Online courses into Chinese. The ideal candidate will possess a background in digital marketing and a strong connection to the Tergar community. Familiarity with Buddhism and various meditation practices is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote courses and events.
• Create and manage digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, and paid advertising.
• Analyze campaign data to optimize performance 
• Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless experience for students.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best marketing practices.
• Manage relationships with external partners, including agencies and contractors.

Requirements:

• Proficient copywriting skills for creating compelling content in Chinese.
• Experience in digital marketing or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of the physical and mental health benefits of meditation, with the ability to effectively convey these benefits to others.
• Knowledge of Buddhism and its philosophy, along with experience in various meditation practices, is a plus.
• Fluency in English.

Job Classification:

• Ongoing Contractor
• Working 10-20hr/week
• This is a 100% remote position that requires reliable internet access and a personal workspace
• The fee will be commensurate with experience and skills.
