🕵🏿 Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Sales Manager to be part of our high-performing Enterprise Sales team in Mauritius. This role is for a proven sales leader with a track record of dealing with ambiguity and delivering exceptional results in a high-growth environment. You will be instrumental in our growth journey by acquiring medium to large-scale enterprises and ensuring their success. This is a sales role where you are accountable for lead generation, forecast management and deal closing, increasing revenue and new client acquisition.
Your Impact & Responsibilities
- Own the Outcome: Be accountable for achieving ambitious targets in merchant acquisition and net revenue.
- Lead Management: Work directly with merchants to solve their payment challenges and assist in their growth from lead generation to account management.
- Forecast Management: Lead your segment pipeline growth as per set targets and forecasting requirements.
- Build the Relationships: Play a personal and direct role in building and maintaining enduring customer relationships, up to the C-level.
- Drive the Product: Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization to help shape Peach’s products and solutions to meet customer needs.
- Champion Our Brand: Participate in key industry events to drive positive market awareness and build our presence.
Competencies: What You Bring
We need a proactive, results-oriented individual with a proven track record in closing enterprise merchants. You should have:
- 5+ years of sales experience with a strong history of reaching/exceeding targets.
- The ability to seek out new merchants, cold calling/lead generation, manage pipelines and close deals.
- The ability to build strategic executive relationships with customers and industry thought leaders.
- A passion for helping to scale new technology businesses.
- The ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts and translate them into industry- or business-relevant terms.
- The ability to work cross-functionally to ensure the merchant gets the best service possible.
- Ability to keep internal systems up to date as per our SOPs.
- Experience in payments or e-commerce is highly preferable.
- A valid driving license in Mauritius is mandatory.
