The job involves leading shift coordinators in production operations to ensure smooth workflows, compliance with regulations, and achievement of targets. Responsibilities include managing manpower, conducting daily meetings, monitoring machine performance, handling inventory issues, and maintaining quality and safety standards, while also supporting cross-functional teams and participating in various operational activities as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead shift coordinators across Cleaning, Sputter, and Lube to ensure smooth operations. Review and prepare pass-down reports for incoming shifts. Act as backup to the Operations Manager when required. Conduct daily production meetings and deliver shift updates. Ensure strict compliance with rules, regulations, and SOPs. Plan and deploy manpower effectively to meet production needs, manage attendance and discipline, schedule overtime when required. Assist the Production Manager in executing daily operations and achieving production targets. Monitor machine utilization and line performance to meet output requirements. Escalate issues proactively to relevant PICs and management. Manage and clear over-WIP inventory, coordinate with Manufacturing Engineers on disposal of problematic lots. Perform MESA transactions, WIP tracking, and meet PI Count audit with zero discrepancy. Ensure compliance with IMS/RBA standards and maintain exemplary conduct. Lead line audits and enforce 7S housekeeping practices. Ensure products meet required quality, safety, and customer standards. Participate in FMEA, 8D, and SPC activities. Support cross-functional teams and take on additional operational responsibilities as needed.
