Our Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealership located at 950 Hellam Street, Wrightsville PA, 17368 is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reconditioning/Detail Technician to join our team of 4 reconditioning techs. You will be responsible for providing top-quality detailing services to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are clean, polished, and well-maintained. We are looking for a candidate who takes pride in their work and possesses a strong attention to detail.

About our reconditioning department:

Team of 4 reconditioning technicians
This location operates as a centralized reconditioning facility for two dealership (Ford and Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram)
Dedicated garage for reconditioning
Tenured team members that are committed to doing excellent work

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:00pm
Every 3rd Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:

Clean and prepare vehicles for customers, ensuring high-quality standards are met
Inspect incoming vehicles for cosmetic issues, identifying areas that require reconditioning
Perform a wide range of automotive reconditioning tasks, including detailing, paint touch-ups, minor repairs, and interior cleaning.
Assist in keeping the detailing area, equipment, and supplies organized and well-maintained
Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure all reconditioning work meets dealership standards.
Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and efficiently complete reconditioning tasks within designated timeframes.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive cleaning and detailing products, techniques, and industry trends

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in automotive detailing preferred, but not required, willing to train.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
Ability to follow specific instructions and adhere to established standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
Knowledge of various cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment used in automotive detailing
Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures related to handling chemicals and equipment
Must possess a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:
The Reconditioning/Detail Technician will primarily work in a garage or detailing area but may occasionally be required to drive customer vehicles short distances. The role involves standing, bending, and regularly lifting heavy objects. Appropriate protective gear and uniforms will be provided.
