For our growing Kazakhstan business, reporting to Financial Controller, managing 1C bookkeeper, we are looking for an Accounting Manager for the following tasks with the following requirements:

General Accounting

• Managing and overseeing general ledger accounts and journal entries in QBO - https://quickbooks.intuit.com and 1C.

• Check if transactions are correctly categorized into the general ledger in QBO and in 1C.

• Posting payroll entries in QBO for 30+ employees.

• Apply VAT to 300 monthly invoices (mostly to non-resident customers) auto created in QBO.

Reconciliations

• Perform account reconciliations excluding cash, supplier and customer accounts. (cash, supplier and customer accounts are managed by AR/AP teams who report to Financial Controller).

Regulatory online filings & compliance

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, and company policies.
• Manage and oversee tax compliance, including VAT, payroll tax, and corporate tax filings.
• Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
• Manage and oversee regulatory online filings compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a global business network
• IRFS certification
• Bachelor or higher degree
• Minimum B2 English level
• Advanced Microsoft Office level
• Experience in global accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics etc.

Location:

• Remote-based role for KZ residents.

Compensation: KZT 1,275,000 monthly gross salary
