About the role:

We are seeking a Healthcare Virtual Assistant to improve patient communication, reduce lab result backlog, streamline medical assistant duties, ensure timely appointment scheduling, and support documentation in the EMR

Key Responsibilities:

Patient communication, call handling, triage of urgent issues, and booking appointments

Lab result follow-ups, relaying doctor notes, scheduling necessary follow-ups

Data entry and documentation within NextTech EMR; potential support for virtual scribing and patient intake information

Requirements:

Must be Registered Nurse with Dermatology Exposure

Must accurately interpret medical notes, labs, and provider instructions

Have 2 screens and back-up internet

Software Proficiency:

NextTech EMR

WEAVE phone system

Clinic VPN + clinic-issued computer

Technical Requirements:

• USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature

• Working Webcam

• Computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and at least 4GB RAM

• Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps cable connection

• Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps
