Head of Innovation Programs
Keller Executive Search is hiring its first Head of Innovation Programs. The role exists because we want to ship two-to-three new service offerings per year — things like AI-assisted candidate matching, an interim-executive bench, and embedded talent advisory — and we don't currently have a single owner driving that pipeline.
You'll report to the CEO, lead a chartered cross-functional team (currently three full-time and a rotating seat from each business unit). The first program to ship under your leadership will be the AI-assisted pre-screening tool currently in alpha.
Key Responsibilities:
• Run the innovation pipeline: ideation, business-case approval, pilot, scale, sunset.
• Ship the AI pre-screening tool to general availability within months — currently in alpha with 8 - 10 consultants.
• Decide what to kill. Most innovation pipelines die because no one will close anything down; that's part of this job.
• Partner with the practice leads to identify what to build next — they own client demand; you own delivery.
• Report quarterly to the board on pipeline health, time-to-pilot, and revenue from new offerings.
• 10+ years building and shipping new product/service offerings — ideally in professional services or B2B platforms.
• Comfortable in a small-team, high-autonomy environment. You should be allergic to long PowerPoints and committees.
• Track record of P&L responsibility for a new offering you stood up.
• Bachelor's required; advanced degree welcome.
- Competitive compensation: $216000 - $324000 USD
- Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.
- Company culture: Flat management structure with direct access to decision‑makers; open communication environment.
- Full medical coverage.
