We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Manager / Leader to drive the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of our DevOps practices. This role requires a strong technical foundation, leadership capability, and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers while collaborating closely with engineering, QA, security, and product teams to enable faster and more efficient delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Define and implement DevOps strategy, roadmap, and best practices aligned with business and engineering goals.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Drive CI/CD pipeline development and optimization to ensure seamless code integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Oversee infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and uptime through proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline release processes and improve deployment frequency while minimizing risks.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines (DevSecOps).
  • Manage containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Continuously evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to improve DevOps maturity and efficiency.
  • Establish metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track system performance, deployment success, and team productivity.
  • Drive automation across infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 9–13 years of overall experience, with a strong focus on DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Proven experience in leading DevOps teams and managing large-scale production environments.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and system architecture principles.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex production issues.
