About us:

Amach is an industry-leading technology driven company with headquarters located in Dublin and remote teams in UK and Europe.

Our blended teams of local and nearshore talent are optimised to deliver high quality and collaborative solutions.

Founded in 2013, Amach was created to solve a specific problem in aviation: too much complexity, too little usable intelligence. We help airlines modernise their operating model using cloud, data and Al-delivered by teams with deep aviation domain expertise.

Our goal is to maximize airlines' operational efficiency by optimizing resource use, reduce costs and increase customer experience and satisfaction.

We're hiring an IT Vendor Manager to take ownership of key strategic supplier relationships within a complex, multi-supplier environment. This role is as much about mindset as experience - you'll need to be confident, self-sufficient, and able to drive outcomes while building strong, credible relationships.

You'll act as the link between internal teams and external vendors, ensuring commitments are met, performance is tracked, and value is delivered. There is also a real opportunity to shape and evolve vendor management processes as part of a growing function.

Please note: the position operates on a hybrid model, requiring attendance at our customers North Dublin office 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities & duties include:

  • Own relationships with strategic vendors, acting as the primary point of contact
  • Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs/QBRs) and ensure follow-up actions are delivered
  • Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and address any risks or gaps
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms in partnership with procurement and legal teams
  • Support contract renewals and contribute to commercial discussions
  • Track financial and non-financial benefits, including cost optimisation initiatives
  • Identify and implement improvements across vendor management processes
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of the vendor management framework
  • Prepare and present updates on vendor performance and key initiatives
  • Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability

Required skills & qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in vendor management, contract management or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of IT environments, systems and services
  • Experience working with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Confident communicator, able to engage and influence at different levels
  • Proven ability to take ownership and drive work through completion
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider team
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing contracts and vendor performance
  • A proactive, "can-do" approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity

Desirable skills:

  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent
  • Exposure to process improvements, automation or AI-related initiatives
  • Coaching or mentoring experience within a team environment

What’s in it for you:

  • An opportunity to join a fast-growing company
  • Options for career advancement
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Flexible working environment
  • Competitive salaries based on experience
