Your Impact
As a Technical Writer for our Product Enablement team, you'll collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering to create content that promotes customer understanding of our products and services. You’ll devise efficient content strategies and enable customer success through detailed documentation. We're seeking someone who is passionate about clear communication and ready to apply AI technologies to improve documentation process efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Write and update release notes, end-user, administrator, and developer documentation, and UI strings for Axon products.
- Build deep customer empathy and continually improve documentation based on customer feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Product Design, Engineering, Customer Support, Training, Marketing, Account Management, and Sales.
- Perform content analysis and develop documentation plans for new features and products.
- Evangelize best practices for technical communications across Axon, including AI workflow enhancements.
- Partner with the training team to promote content reuse and efficient content and learning plans.
- Work in a content management system to create, review, and deliver our content to multiple platforms.
- Assist with documentation translation workflows and processes.
Location: This role is based out of one of our R&D hubs (Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, Scottsdale or Boston office) and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
